What is a PhotoMOSFET relay?

The photoMOSFET relays built in the CDT-RX-03M outputs consist of transistor switches controlled by LED. Rather than output a High or Low signal, it simulates a closing action of a switch which can be used in the customer’s application. These components help provide electrical isolation between each of the switches SW1-6 and from the rest of the module circuitry.
