[ Video ] [ MU-2-R ] – Demonstrating how to send some sensor readings using Arduino and the low power transceiver MU-2-R.

Circuit Design’s low power RF modem MU-2-R and its successor MU-4 allow transmission and reception of serial data through UART by using Circuit Design’s command protocol. By using the Arduino MEGA’s serial input and output capability, it is possible to collect sensor signals e.g. temperature, humidity etc, process them and allow the modem to transmit these readings up to 600m line of sight. To extend range further the modems are capable of acting as relays.
