[ Video ] Testing the radio modules STD-302Z and LMD-401

The test board TB-STD302 is used for evaluating the radio modules STD-302Z and LMD-401. The STD-302Z and LMD-401 radio modules rely on an internal PLL circuit to set the transmit and receive channel. This allows flexibility when using frequency channels compared to using fixed channels. As a result an external setting program is needed to program the radio module which can be inconvenient for those wanting to make communication with the module quickly and easily. To remove the inconvenience of creating a setting program, Circuit Design introduces the TB-STD302Z with onboard CPU, band and channel setting controls. When using this board all that is required is insertion of the radio module and power supply. To make communication tests, data input, output, RSSI and AF terminals are duplicated on the board for easy access. A PN9 data source at 4800 and 9600 bps is also included.
